Offshore Engineering Society

The main aim of the Offshore Engineering Society is to provide "Networking" opportunities for Offshore Engineers of all disciplines and the dissemination of technical information of offshore engineering through a programme of lectures and other events. OES meetings are proving very popular and capacity audiences are being achieved. We have clarified the priorities to ensure fairness for members and ensure reserved attendance is guaranteed. The Range of Skills and Experience of Offshore Engineering Society members include: Extensive, worldwide experience in offshore geotechnics, including: planning and supervision of site investigation; supervision of installation activities; high level reviews of foundation designs and reports; expert witness work; verification. Full, up-to-date, offshore survival course and medical certification; A Chartered Engineer with extensive experience of offshore and subsea engineering design, installation engineering and development work. This includes experience of offshore platforms (topsides substructures and foundations), shallow and deep-water projects, subsea installations, subsea connection systems, ‘J’ lay and ‘S’ lay of pipelines, pipeline trenching, towed bundles, riser systems, construction vessels and FPSO moorings.
