The Research Center Administrator's Society is a national non-profit organization whose membership is comprised of agricultural research directors, station managers, university, college administrators. The society's mission is to advance the acquisition of scientific knowledge concerning the nature, improvement, use, and interrelationships of research center administration scientific research and also new technology. Research Center Administrator's Society was established in 1964. The Research Center Administrators Society meets twice in a year. The winter meeting held in conjunction with Southern Association of Agricultural Scientists and includes a technical presentation program and a little tour. The fall meeting is hosted by the Research Center Administrators Society where tthe society will visit research facilities and agri-business companies.
The Executive Committee consist of current officers, Immediate past President and a representative from each participating state. State Representative will be selected by the membership of their respective states. The Executive Committee meet at least two times annually. A casual meeting will be held during each of the semi-annual meetings. Officers are elected by the membership to serve for one year, and their term of office shall begin at the end of the winter meeting at which they are elected. There is No member shall hold more than one office at a time and no member is eligible to serve consecutive terms in the same office as well. The society's President appoints a Nominating Committee consisting of past Presidents who are still active in the Society. The Nominating Committee is appointed during the annual society meeting.
