Royal Society of Architects in Wales

   Architect is someone who designs, plans and reviews the construction of buildings. To practice architecture of buildings and  space in the site surrounding the buildings as their principal purpose is human occupancy or use. The royal society of Architects in wales represents and supports chartered members of the Royal Institute of British Architect in Wales. The Royal Society of Architects in Wales is the Wales Royal Institute of British Architect. In 1994 The society  granted Royal status by  Privy Council. It is based in Cardiff, United Kingdom, with four branches throughout Wales Design Circle and West Wales Branch. In 2007 the Society represented around 800 architects in Wales. Royal Society of Architects in Wales regularly organises competitions to highlight good architecture In 2012 it held competition titled  Redesigning the Terrace in December 2012. The Royal Society of Architects in Wales represents over 800 architects in Wales, Royal Institute of British Architects which provides support for over 40, architects, both in the UK and overseas. As a part of Royal Institute of British Architects the Royal Society of Architects in Wales Champions betters buildings, Communities and The Royal Institute of British Architects Champions better buildings our members. The Society is governed by its elected Council and Councillors are elected for a three-year till  Society's Annual General Meetings and can serve a maximum of two regular terms. Council meetings every two months and is led by the Society's President.
