The Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine(SASEM) will provide competent, compassionate, comprehensive and cutting-edge emergency health care resources that are accessible, fiscally responsible, and delivered in the most efficient manner to our community within a multi-disciplinary and integrated health care system, while promoting Emergency Medicine synergism, safety, staffing, satisfaction, and solvency in order to improve the quality of Emergency Medicine care in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine will be recognized as leader in providing world-class, scientific-based, health care supported by incorporation, advancements, and innovation. The values of SASEM are a) EM board-certified and Emergency Medicine qualified staff b) Integrate into in all EM-related projects as essential public service c) Patients, Staff wellness, Organization, and Environment d) Accessible, covering all of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia e) Education, Research, System Implementation f) Our Customers, Work Force, and Organizations g) Practices to control revenues, disburse funds, and invest to generate financial prosperity. SASEM will continuously work through its Research Section to secure research grants in the field of emergency medicine and its various subspecialties to encourage the research in the field. SASEM’s members will be privileged to be the first to know about existing research grants and have the priority to apply and receive these grants. Both public and private sectors are invited and encouraged to either establish new research grants or donate to the existing one.
