This organization has been established within the year 1967. It’s doubtless that the thought to arrange southwestern parasitologists into a regional cluster originated over cocktails one night within the late Fifties throughout a regional or national meeting. What’s clear is that 2 men-Drs. Robert E. Kuntz and Donald V. Moore were instrumental in turning the thought into what has become, in reality, the Southwestern Association of Parasitologists (SWAP). We tend to receive a moderately favorable response. In spite of this, Kuntz, Moore et al. maintained a frenzied interest in building such a company and that they continued to speak concerning it at annual conferences. There are abundant parasitology Societies worldwide, both civic and international. However, ESP stands out to be one of the lots of acclaimed societies both in Europe or worldwide.
