The Anatomical Society (AS), established in 1887, is a scholarly society with beneficent status. Its points are to advance, create and propel exploration and instruction in all parts of anatomical science. AS accomplishes these points by sorting out exploratory gatherings; distributed the Journal of Anatomy and Aging Cell; making yearly honors of PhD studentships, gives and prizes.The Society directs its operations in view of Articles of Association and Regulations. It is represented by a chose Council of Trustees that incorporates the President, Secretary, Treasurer, the Chairs of Standing Committees and a postgraduate part.
The Society plans to rouse the up and coming era of anatomists by supporting their preparation. In a joint effort with our partners in the American Association of Anatomists, AS has built up a 2 year Training Program in Anatomy for youthful bioscientists who wish to learn and instruct geological life structures at both undergrad and postgraduate levels. In 2007, AS distributed a center syllabus of clinical life systems for undergrad medicinal understudies that is referenced in the latest version of Tomorrow's Doctors (2009).Read More»
