The Geological Society of America

The Geological Society of America is a worldwide expert society with a rising associations of more than 26,000 persons in 115 countries. The Geological Society of America upholds its trust and vow to diversity and will last to grow its diverse base. The Geological Society of America Vision statement is "in support of and consistent with the Geological Society of America’s Vision and Mission to develop consensus on significant professional, technical, and societal issues of relevance to the geosciences community. Position Statements, developed and adopted through a well-defined process, provide the basis for statements made on behalf of the Geological Society of America before government bodies and agencies and communicated to the media and the general public.” The Geological Society of America ropes the scientific conclusions that Planet’s weather is altering; the environment variations are due in part to humanoid actions; and the likely penalties of the environment fluctuations will be momentous and blind to geopolitical limits. Furthermore, the potential implications of global climate change and the time scale over which such changes will likely occur require active, effective, long-term planning.
