The Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology

The Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology is an esteemed society which has collaborated with the Japanese Dermatological Association locally. Furthermore, JSID has already organized International Investigative Dermatology events and meetings with the Society of Investigative Dermatology (SID) and also with the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR) for a period of five years. The activity is supposed to be taken over by the International Societies for Investigative Dermatology by the year 2023.

This society has also launched the JSID Kisaragi Juku ("the JSID Young Academician-Fostering Seminar") in 2010. The seminar is aimed to foster promising, zealous young doctors as medical specialty researchers. JSID believes in providing intensive seminars to teach young researchers through human exchanges of heated academic discussions, which may be one amongst the most appropriate solutions to assist amendment those circumstances. 

It was founded in the year 1976, and presently this year year it is all set to organise it's 41st annual meeting. The first president of the annual meeting was K. Tanioku which was held at Maebashi.
