The society that values and maximizes the potential of all its residents by using helping them to satisfy average health. To make healthy communities, behavioural health can be identified, reputable, and allocated sources with equity and fairness as part of usual fitness. NAPHS are actively working to develop integrated delivery systems that offer the most effective and efficient care and which might be devoted to the delivery of responsive, accountable, and clinically effective prevention, treatment and care for children, young people, adults, alcohol and substance abuse patients older adults with mental and substance use disorders. Most offer a continuum of administrations along with inpatient, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, and outpatient care And which along with integrated health systems, hospitals, units and behavioural health divisions of general hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, community mental health centers, residential treatment centers, youth services organizations, and behavioural group practices--in all regions of the country NAPHS works to promote appropriate direction through such associations as the Joint Commission, other authorizing bodies, Medicare/Medicaid, and state legislatures. In April 1999, the Association of Behavioural Group Practices (ABGP) merged with NAPHS, in addition increasing the association's representation of the continuum of care. Behavioural health associations must be united in advocacy goals to successfully improve Americans' entrance to, scope for, and results in behavioural healthcare treatment.  Pioneers must make an atmosphere in which competing association efforts are coordinated, advocacy messages are strengthened, and services for clients/consumers are improved. NAPHS must stay flexible so that it can progress in the direction of this vision.
