According to World Health Organization (WHO) digestive diseases like- diarrhoea, obesity, cancer are comes under top ten cause of death. But unfortunately people do not have proper awareness for these diseases. Ukrainian Association of Gastroenterology (UGO) make campaigns for making people aware about these diseases as well as Hepatitis and Cancer screening in different countries. The mission if this association is to promote  general public and health care professionals , making awareness  of  worldwide prevalence and optimal care of digestive disorders through the provision of high quality and independent education and training. They deal with research-and-development, treatment and prophylaxis in Ukraine. The area of research for this organization are- epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis of chronic digestive diseases, innovation in diagnostic methods, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and new drug development regarding these diseases. This association has well trained professionals and research teams for gastroenterology. The Institute have well-versed   scientific and clinical departments of therapeutic gastroenterology (departments of the gastric and duodenal diseases, intestinal diseases, hepatic and pancreas diseases) and the department of surgery of the digestive system, diagnostic department and research and clinical laboratories, it allows to perform the wide range of tasks from therapy to surgery everything in one place. They have several guidelines. Every guideline includes references to other relevant guidelines; UAG is the organization who has adopted a global focus. The UAG Guidelines Library contains practice guidelines written from a viewpoint of global acceptability.
