Utah Pharmaceutical Association

Utah was only a Territory when some of its medication masters met in Salt Lake City, April fifth, 1892, and sorted out themselves into an Association . In the mid 1980's, C. Neil Jensen transformed into the Executive Director for the Association, and operations were missed the mark on a Sugarhouse office off of 21st South. In 1996, Neil moved the work environment to Orem on Columbia Lane, which was straightforwardly over the valley from his home. In 2001, Neil announced his retirement and he (and the present Board of Trustees at the time) contracted Reid L. Barker to be the Executive Director. In 2002, the American Pharmaceutical Association, which was set up in 1852, held their Sesquicentennial Celebration in Phildelphia and settled on the decision to change their long-standing name to the American Pharmacists Association to disconnect the insight by the all inclusive community of any association with gathering. In 2004, UPhA did in like manner action - renaming the relationship to the Utah Pharmacists Association, and developed another logo. In late 2007, under the course of the Board of Trustees, Reid moved the processes of the Association to a Mount Pleasant. In February 2013, the Board of Trustees enrolled the mangement association of Association Solutions out of Midvale Utah to manage the Association.
