Wild Bird Society of Japan

Wild Bird Society of Japan:

Wild Bird Society of Japan (WBSJ) was established in 1934 in Tokyo by Nakanishi Godo and his associates. The association has now around 50,000 individuals and 90 related associations. WBSJ distributes a bulletin called 'Yacho (Wild Bird)' and a diary of field ornithology 'Strip'. The mission of the association is: The preservation of winged animals, instructing individuals about the security of feathered creatures, the advancement of examination and leading studies on flying creatures. WBSJ is a BirdLife International Partner. 'Ehime, WBSJ' began in 1974 as a related association of WBSJ and now we have around 350 individuals. Our point is to add to ensuring the biodiversity of Ehime by performing research on wild flying creatures and to save their living space environment. At that point, we would like to advise individuals about these exercises and give them chances to appreciate and collaborate with wild winged creatures in their common habitat. We hold birding strolls more than 60 times each year and distribute the announcement Komadori Japanese Robin bimonthly. We send teachers to occasions held by different associations and schools if vital.
