WAS main goal is to endorse sexual health for all through sexological science. The WAS known as World Association for Sexology has changed its name in order to stress that sexology is a tool for achieving sexual health. Since 1978 WAS has been the leading global organization concerned with sexual health and rights. WAS facilitates sexual health through health promotion, education and networking.
