La Crosse Encephalitis is caused due to the transmission of La Crosse encephalitis virus through mosquito vector. The symptoms include fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, lethargy and seizures. In later stages the symptoms may be as severe as neuroinvasive diseases, seizures, coma and paralysis. It may also lead to disability or death.

It includes alleviating the symptoms and balancing fluids and electrolyte levels and also control of seizures.
