Pradyumna Ghosh, Associate Professor, department Of Mechanical Engg, IIT-BHU, Varanasi, India. He did his Ph.D from Department Of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology(Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. Before joining to academics he has five years of experience in and research and industry which includes TERI,New Delhi, University Of Maryland, College Park, USA, Infosys Technologies Ltd. His area of research is microgravity fluid physics, porous media,nanofluids.He has authored 20 international publications and one book,”Thermal convection in microgravity”
The Seminar will address different transport phenomena problems which I have made an effort to solve either numerically or experimentally. The basket of these transport problems includes “Thermal convection in porous media”, “Viscous fingering in porous media”, Micro-macro interaction in an anisotropic porous media flow-A Lattice Boltzman Approach. Last but not the least a unified approach will be discussed to analyze Hydrology related transport phenomenon problem.
