Environmental Pollution is one of the greatest problems that the world is facing today. The day by day increasing pollutants causing grave and irreparable damage to the earth. Pollutants are the introduction of contaminants into the environment which cause discomfort or harm to humans or other living organisms, or that damage the environment. Environmental pollutants mainly spoiling the air, water and soil. Air pollution is caused by the emission of chemicals, material or biological materials that cause damage or harm to the natural atmosphere. The major sources of air pollution are Carbon dioxide- due to deforestation and fossil fuel burning, Sulfur dioxide- due to burning of sulfur containg compounds of fossil fuels, Sulfur oxides- which causes acid rain. The major sources of water pollution are the waste water discharged from industries and commercial bodies, such as chemical, metallurgical, food processing industries, textile, paper industries. They discharge several organic and inorganic pollutants. Urbaniztion and industrialization are major causes of soil pollution. Major soil pollutants are coming out from Agriculture, domestic waste, Industrial waste and construction waste. Pollutants affect humans by destroying their respiratory, cardiovascular and neurological systems, etc. We specifically invite you as an expert in Environmental Pollutants to submit an original research, review, case report, short communication and opinion article which may contribute for better understanding and control environmental pollutants to save our Earth as well as human life.
