Female Sexual Dysfunction is a sexual disorder in females in which there is sexual dissatisfaction in the female body. The sexual response cycle has four phases: excitement, plateau, orgasm and resolution. This disease can be caused due to several factors such as physical and/or medical conditions, diabetes, heart disease, neurological disorders, hormonal imbalances, menopause, and chronic diseases such as kidney or liver failure, and alcoholism and drug abuse.
Statistical report shows that the disease has high prevalence in women having emotional stress after menopause. Its treatment includes psychological as well as educational classes that can help the female patients to overcome their anxiety and regenerate their sexual interests.
