Bilecik Åeyh Edebali University came into existence in 2007 and is one of the established state universities. It is a non-profit higher education institution located in the town of Bilecik with a population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants. The University is officially accredited/recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education).
Bilecik Åeyh Edebali University is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. The University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. It also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services. Initially, the Faculty of Science Literature and Engineering and the Institute of Social Sciences were established. Later, Osmaneli Vocational School, Pazaryeri Vocational School, GölpazarÄ± Vocational School, SöÄüt Vocational School, Health Services Vocational School, Vocational School and Bozüyük Vocational School were established.
