Using AS-PCR, the percentage of Y448H mutant was determined for each available time point for 16 patients. 8 day Tegobuvir (GS-9190) monotherapy suppressed the wild-type virus allowing for the gradual growth of the Y448H mutant. After monotherapy, Y448H viral load continued to increase while the wild-type viral load remained stable. |
