(Table 4) showed clearly that the Orf virus isolate was held at 37°C, a 1.1 Log units decrease in the titer was evidenced by the 30 minutes, then, gradual
decreasing until complete inactivation. When the viral isolate was held at 56°C, the decrease in viral activity was much accelerated, with a bulk of the virus 3.4 Log units being inactivated within the first twenty minutes and the complete inactivation was achieved within 30 minutes. Essential oil mixed with virus suspension (v/v) decrease viral activity 3.1 Log units complete inactivation was achieved within 40 minutes.
