aWhile the grow-out period for cobia in the north is 18-19 months per year, there is a delay between harvest and seeding. Farmer’s produce one crop every two years.
bDue to a significant reduction in the harvest price for seabass, southern cage farmers have moved away from seabass to other species. Hence, the survey was based on pond farming of Asian Seabass.
