Figure 1: TKIs: Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors, IL-6: Interleukin-6, JAK2/STAT3/ SNAIL: Janus Kinase-2/ Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription- zinc finger protein signaling pathway. Cancer induces growth hormones production and cytokines, such as; IL-6. IL-6 activates the JAK2/STAT3/SNAIL signaling pathway and mutagenesis and “combined tumors” are produced. TKIs induce IL-6 overproduction and α-actin plus collagen through the JAK2/STAT3/SNAIL signaling pathway and fibrosis is induced. IL-6 receptor antibodies can be used for “combined tumors” and suppression of the JAK2/STAT3/SNAIL signaling pathway and inhibit tumor proliferation and fibrogenic activity.
