(a) The ST chip was consisted of a thorough-hole PMMA plate (270 wells/10×10mm2, each well was 600 µm in diameter, 600 µm in depth, and 660 µm in pitch) and a PDMS sheet. The ST chip surface was modified by PEG to create non-adhesive properties. (b) The inoculated cells onto the ST chip formed spheroids within 3 days of culture. The ST chip was flipped onto a collagen-coated dish, and then the PDMS sheet was peeled off after the spheroids fell onto the dish. The PMMA frame was taken off from the dish after the spheroids adhered onto the dish. |
