| Data were obtained from ClinicalTrial.gov on January 9, 2014. Methods:“Advanced Search” option was used. “India” entered in “Country” field. “First Received” field was used to include dates “From 01/01/…. To 12/31/….” for each year from 2002 through 2013. Compound annual growth rate (CAGR)was used for the periods 2005–2010 and 2010–2013 (years prior to 2005 were deemed to contain data that were not meaningful) using the formula:
