Figure 6: Adoptive transfer of pSurvivin95-104-specific CTLs mediates effective therapy of human glioma in NOD/SCID mice. NOD/SCID mice were inoculated intravenously with 4 × 106 viable U251 tumor cells. Mice (n = 10 per group) were treated with i.v. injection of pSurvivin95-104-specific CTL (up to 3 × 106 cells per injection). Mice with injection of PBS or pHIV-specifc CTLs were served as the control groups. Tumor volumes were calculated at 5-day intervals after tumor cells inoculation (A). The survival time of each group of mice was monitored and recorded on a regular basis (B). The data presented are from three independent experiments. The bars in the graph represent standard error.
