| Figure 6: Humanins slightly altered UPR expression in HUVECs. The cells were incubated with 4μM humanin M, HNG, HN10d or HN10dV for 24 hours; they were exposed to 5 ng/mL TNFα in the sample wells during last 4 hours. At the end, the cells were fixed with 4% PFA, and protein expression was determined using specific primary and secondary antibodies. All the results were normalized to the control cells without HNs. The protein expression is presented as a mean of relative fluorescence of a particular sample normalized to the control cells +/- variance.
