(A) Morphology of the cells in different groups at 3rd passage by phase contrast microscopy (upper panels), and Osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation (Lower panels) of MSCs from different sources was done and confirmed by Alizarin red and oil red staining. Only BM-MSCs differentiated into adipocyte (X200). (B) Flow cytometry analysis showing the expression of MSCs surface markers in BM-MSCs, UC-MSCs and rat pancreatic stromal cells in 3rd passage. BM-MSCs and UC-MSCs were strongly positive for MSC-specific markers such as CD73, CD105, CD90 and CD44.Interestingly; rat pancreatic stromal cells expressed CD44H and CD90. As a negative marker, CD45, CD34 and CD11b were used. The positivity of each marker shown as percentage of the cells. |
