Penicillin G Sodium Crystalline, Plus 50,000 IU/kg/24hrs QID For ten days
Chlorpromazine, 1.6 mg/kg/24 hours IV/IM divided in to 4 doses   -
Cellulitis Crystalline Penicillin 50 million units/kg IV 4 hourly 10 days
Erysipelas Crystalline Penicillin 50,000 IU/kg 4 hourly Until fever subsides
Syphilis Crystalline penicillin G followed by 50,000 units /kg IV every 4 hours For 10-14 days
Benzathine Penicillin at the completion of IV therapy 50,000 units /kg IM single dose -
Neonatal Conjunctivitis Penicillin G Sodium Crystalline, 50,000 IU/kg QID For 10 days
Temporal bone fracture Benzyl Penicillin, Plus 50,000 IU/kg IV every 3 hours For 10 –15 days
Gentamicin 2-2.5 mg/kg IM OR IV TID
