Biography

Dr. Kamran Badizadegan is a pathologist in Columbus, Ohio. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Pathologists diagnose and characterize diseases. They analyze biopsied tissue or bodily fluids, and interpret medical tests, including tests done by other specialists like dermatologists and cardiologists. Most cancer diagnoses are done by pathologists.

It is time to see cholera as a serious and preventable global threat worthy of coordinated attention and management, active global surveillance, and increased human and financial resource investments.
