Biography
Kathryn Moffett has extended valuable service for many years. Also has been a recipient of many awards and grants. International experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study
Research Interest
Dr. Moffett teaches several annual courses at WVU:  MSII Microbiology course,  MSII Ethics, Nurse Practitioner Core Curriculum in Infectious Diseases, and the WVU Tropical Medicine course.  She is Co-Clerkship Director, involved in the MSIII core curriculum for pediatrics and she consults on the pediatric wards for Cystic Fibrosis and Infectious Diseases 26 weeks/year teaching of residents and medical students.  She also teaches Medical Students/Residents/Fellows in the outpatient clinic (cystic fibrosis & infectious diseases).  Research interests include cystic fibrosis, with ongoing clinical trials in  CF, vaccines in children, and medical ethics & palliative care of chronic diseases in children.
