Biography
Michelle Tanious is a Research Associate at the CADE Clinic. Her main role is to coordinate a trial on depression using the anti-oxidant N-acetyl cysteine. She also assists in other CADE research projects and publications. Michelle was awarded a BMedSci (Hons) from the University of Sydney in 2004 and a BPsycSci (Hons) in 2011. She has worked in a variety of research fields including cardiology, oncology and psycho-oncology. She is a faculty member in Discipline of Psychiatry, Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia.
Research Interest
Michelle’s current research interests include the neurophysiological factors underlying mood disorders as well as pharmacological agents used to treat them.
