Biography
Riccardo Tartaglia is Medical Doctor, specialist in Occupational Medicine, Hygiene and Public Health, Certified European Ergonomist. He is adjunct professor of Ergonomics at University of Florence and Scientific Coordinator of the Advanced Course in Clinical Risk Management at Sant’Anna Superior School - University of Pisa. He was Scientific Director of the Ergonomics Research Centre of Healthcare Trust Florence. He is Vicepresident and founder of the Italian Society for Safety and Quality of Transplants and Past President of the Italian Ergonomics Society. Since 2004 he is director of the Centre for Clinical Risk Management and Patient Safety, located at the Department of Health of the Tuscany Region in Florence and Coordinator of the Italian Committee for Patient Safety. He is author of books published by Springer, Taylor&Francis, Il Mulino. He published many scientific papers in MedLine.
