Biography
Dr Rubens Spin-Neto has received his PhD in Periodontology, Sao Paulo State University – Araraquara, Brazil during the period of 2008-2011. Currently, he is working on a second PhD degree, in Oral Radiology, in Aarhus University - Denmark. He also attends as the current chair for the Youth Goodwill Ambassador Corps. Of Denmark. His research has included mainly topics related to oral implants, bone grafting techniques, and lately image artifacts in CBCT imaging. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as the Research Prize in Implant Dentistry, granted by the European Association of Osseointegration in 2013. He has authored more than 70 research articles/books in his career.
