Vineeta Singh is a scientist at Cell Biology Laboratory and Malaria Parasite Bank, National Institute of Malaria Research (ICMR), (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), New Delhi, India.Vineeta is currently working as a scientist at the National Institute of Malaria Research, Delhi – one of the premier institutes under the Indian Council of Medical ResShe has a PhD in Biotechnology from BITS, Pilani.
She was one of the individuals selected for the Chevening program organised by the Oxford university in 2012.Her job profile is diverse ranging from research in the field of parasite biology to mentoring PhD students. She also has research projects in collaboration with the National Institute of Health, USA.
She has several research projects funded by DBT, ICMR and industry and has another one in collaboration with National Institute of Health, USA and several peer reviewed papers in various international journals. Her long term aim is to achieve more insight about the malaria pathogenesis which seems to be changing rapidly.
