Biography

Dr. Jha Yachana, Assistant professor Biotechnology, N.V Patel college of Pure and Applied Sceinces, SP University, Anand- 388120, Gujarat: Mobile No. 09426282152, email-yachanajha@ymail.com. She has worked form last 10 years in field of plant biotechnology, plant stress physiology and plant microbes interaction to increase the yield of crop for growing population. She has born on 5th February 1974 at HFC Barauni, Bihar. She completed her higher and senior secondary studies from Kendriya Vidyalaya, HFC. She completed her B.Sc (Zoology H) in 1997 and M.Sc Biotechnology in 2000 from LNMU Darbhanga, Bihar. He also qualify the National Eligibility Test in Life sciences in June 2000 conducted by CSIR-UGC. She did her Ph.D on “Identification of novel inoculants and their effects on biotic and abiotic stress in a local paddy variety (Oryza sativa) GJ-17” under the supervision of Prof. RB Subramanian from BRD School of Biosciences, SP University, Anand in 2011. She worked as JRF in ILS Bhubaneswar in 2001 and after few months she became Assistant Professor at College of Life Sciences, CHRI, Gwalior. She is life member of 3 scientific societies including ISPP, SARR and published 20 research papers in reputed International Journal, covering 1 book chapters. She has submitted 16S Gene Sequence of PGPR having accession no. EU921258, EU921259, FJ602871, HM756642, HM756643, JQ790514, JQ790515 and Protease Gene JX875103. Rice Gene Rab 18 JF495696 & JQ430993, β-1,3 Glucanase HM569719 and Catalase JX875104. She is Reviewer for Springer publication related to plant biotechnology.
