Biography

Mohammad Afaque Alam is a molecular biology at The Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, USA. His focus area of research includes genomics, proteomics, lipidomics, miRnomics and signalomics. Dr received his Ph.D. from All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India in 2008 in the area of Molecular Cardiology. Dr Alam trained at Ottawa and Montreal Heart Institute as molecular cardiovascular biologist where he worked on identifying novel SNPs using genome-wide association study (GWAS), and also characterizes the potential role of reconstituted HDL on circulating progenitor cells in patients with acute coronary syndrome
