Subrata Mondal

Biography

Dr. Subrata Mondal is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Development and Rural Technology, National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Earlier, he has worked at The Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; The University of Queensland, Australia; Monash University, Australia; Colorado State University, USA and National University of Singapore, Singapore. Dr. Mondal obtained his PhD degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in polymer science (major in polyurethane dense membrane). As of now he has over 44 international referred journal publications, 2 USA patents, 4 book chapters and few conferences with citation over 1300, h-index 17 and i-10 index of 24. In addition, he is an active reviewer of many international journals and editorial board member for few international referred journals. He has received several international awards which includes prestigious the University of Queensland Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s International postgraduate scholarship for PhD study, Mrs. Cheung Chan You Fong Grace Scholarship as best Research Student. Dr. Subrata Mondal’s researches have been featured in Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC)-Landline TV, Queensland Business Review and Australia’s Anthill.
