Biography
Prof. João Filipe Requica has received his PhD in University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Vila Real, Portugal) during the period of 2009 an 2013. Currently, he/she is working as Assistant Professor in Lusophone University (Lisbon, Portugal). His research has included animal models of periodontal regeneration and the development of tissue-engineered strategies for the treatment of bone and periodontal defects. He /she is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like & expert Reviewers for journals like JTERM and HSOA Journal of Stem Cells Research, Development and Therapy. He has authored 15 research articles/books. He is a member of the European Veterinary Dental Society, the Portuguese Society of Veterinary and Experimental Dentistry and the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society – European Chapter.
Research Interest
Animal models of periodontal regeneration and the development of tissue-engineered strategies for the treatment of bone and periodontal defects.
