Biography

Research Scientist / Post Doctoral Researcher April 2015 onwards I am currently working as a Post doctoral Researcher in University Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. I have also appointed as a Research Scientist in Anano Sphere Sdn Bhd, Penang, Malaysia. Research Professor March 2014 – Feb. 2015 Research Professor of Chemistry (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Chemistry, Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, Republic of Korea. I have handled one theory paper (renewable energy) for MSc and Doctoral students. My research fields are semiconductor photocatalysis, solar cells, CO2 photo-reduction and photochemical water splitting. Assistant Professor Jan. 2013 - Feb. 2014 Assistant Professor of Chemistry, C.P. A. College, Bodinayakanur, Tamilnadu, India. 8 MSc and 4 MPhil students completed their research projects under my guidance. I handled practical and theory classes of MSc chemistry and Industrial Chemistry students. Research Fellow June 2009- Dec.2012 Worked as a Research project fellow in Thiagarajar College, Madurai, Tamilnadu, India. I also completed my Ph.D at the same period from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamilnadu, India under the guidance of Dr. A. Suganthi, Head, Department of Chemistry, Thiagarajar College. Lecturer July 2008- May 2009 Worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacuetical Chemistry, Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi, Tamilnadu, India. Two MSc students completed their research projects under my guidance. Project Assistant Dec 2007-March 2008 Worked as a Project Assistant in Syngene International Ltd, Biocon Park, Bangalore, India under the guidance of Dr. R. Ramesh, Scientific Manager.
