Biography
Prof. Xi Liyan has been engaged in clinical frontline of dermatology for over 20 years. As one of the leading experts on dermatology in China, she has a wealth of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of skin diseases, especially in handling mycoses, such as the superficial mycoses (tinea manus and pedis, tinea corporis and cruris, tinea capitis, tinea unguium and tinea versicolor), intractable chromoblastomycosis and penicilliosis mameffei.
Research Interest
Prof. Xi Liyan has been focusing on the research of deep fungal infections and pathogenicity of dimorphic fungus. In this field, her work has won acknowledgments home and abroad, and earned her more than 6 fund grants from provincial and national institutes for the past ten years.
