Dr Shiyan Ren has received his PhD from PLA Medical Training School in the field of General Surgery, and postdoctoral fellow training in the University of California at San Francisco and University of British Collumbia for biomedical research. He has passed USMLE(2002), Canadian Medical Licensure Evaluation Exam(2002) and Australian Medical licensure Exam(2007). Currently, he is working as Associate Chief Surgeon in China-Japan Frienship Hospital. He is associate professor in medical school of Beijing University and teaches medicine for medical student. His primary research interests include vascular surgical disorders, deep venous thrombosis and varicose. He is serving as reviewer of journals like The Journal of Thoracic Disease, World Journal of Gastroenterology, The International Journal of Medical Robotics and Computer Assisted Surgery , Austin J Surgery, etc? He has published more than 60 papers and composed three books: Management of venous Diseases, Minimally invasive treatment of venous diseases, and Essence to Surgical Examination.
His primary research interests include vascular surgical disorders, deep venous thrombosis and varicose.
