Swimmer's itch is also known as cercarial dermatitis. it is an itchy rash which could take place as soon as you frolic in the water or maybe wading outside the house.
Symptoms are red acne as well as blisters. Skin tone needs to be softly rinsed along with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol after which painted along with calamine gel. A great antihistaminic or moderate corticosteroid treatment (1% hydrocortisone) may be advantageous.
The swimmer’s itch incidence rate was 7.3 episodes per 100 water-exposure days (89 episodes; 95% confidence interval = 5.6, 8.2). Fifty-two people acquired swimmer’s itch (34.3% of exposed persons); 58% had 1 episode and 56% had 2 or more.
