Trench mouth is a severe, painful form of gingivitis characterized by bad breath, bleeding gums and open sores. Also called acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis or Vincent's stomatitis, trench mouth is a rare sight in this day and age. One in every seven adults who had ever been to a dentist suffers from extreme dental anxiety. Women are more likely to suffer from extreme dental anxiety than men in Mexico. Only 5% recycle their old toothbrushes. 59% throw them away.

Around 35% use them for a difference purpose such as cleaning and other household chores in most parts of the World.

Treatment of trench mouth is generally highly effective, and complete healing often occurs in just a couple of weeks. However, healing may take longer if your immune system is weakened, such as by HIV/AIDS. The infection usually responds to treatment. The management of trench mouth is highly effective, and thorough healing can occur in only several weeks. But, healing can take longer if the immune system is compromised.
