Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a most common disorder affecting the large intestine, commonly called as the Colon. It is a widespread involving repeated occurrence of abdominal pain and Diarrhoea or constipation, mainly associated with stress, Depression, anxiety, or previous intestinal infection. The condition can also be painful and debilitating, which can have a negative impact on your quality of life.
The symptoms differ between individuals and affect few people at a greater extent with higher severity than others. Increased sensitivity of the gut and problems digesting food leading to Constipation and diarrhoea. IBS patients have blood in their stool, many possibly from Hemorrhoidal Bleeding; this condition needs to be considered seriously.
