Humanoid Robot as a concept is still in its formative stages. It is a multidisciplinary collaborative effort that includes Mechanical, electrical and computer engineers, robot experts, computer scientists, artificial intelligence researchers, psychologists, physicists, biologists, cognitive scientists, neurobiologists, philosophers, linguists and artists all contribute and lay claim to the diverse humanoid projects around the world to see that the humanoid robot is able to exercise the intelligence akin to the human beings.
