    Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell).Leukemia may affect red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Older age can affect the risk of developing chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Signs and symptoms of chronic lymphocytic leukemia include swollen lymph nodes and tiredness.
    Treatment:
    Treatment of refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia may include the following: Repeat treatment with monoclonal antibody therapy and combination chemotherapy. A clinical trial of chemotherapy with stem cell transplant.
