Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers

The Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers was established on the 4th December 1900 and became an Associated Society of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 1987 and represents the civil engineers at North East of Scotland. This association works in collaboration with Science fairs and local schools to promote activities related to Civil Engineering. Aim of Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers is to encourage and promote obtaining knowledge on the ground of civil engineering and related branches that will be beneficial for the community, to arrange meetings where paper related to civil engineering can be presented and discussed. It also works towards providing training and education to all Student Members and technician. The interest of the Young Group Member is handled by Group Committee and the group is consisting of students, graduates and trainees. AACE is promoting civil engineering to school pupils of different ages by offering variety of initiatives.
