Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI)

This society work with objective,  encourage the development & dissemination of knowledge of Aeronautical and Aerospace Sciences / Technologies.

ORGANIZATION

The Aeronautical Society of India a proficient organization, dedicated to advancement of aeronautical sciences & engineering in India, was established in December 27, 1948. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Patron-in-Chief of the Society. Presently Honorary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the Patron-in-Chief of the Society. Over the years, the company has become a major professional organization in the field of aerospace, aviation and aerospace. The Company has 16 branches in all major centres of aviation in the counter to know. Agra, Calcutta, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Goa, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Chennai,  Kochi, Mumbai, Nasik, Nagpur, Pune, New Delhi, Sunabeda & Trivuvananthapuram. The company also CFD Division in Bangalore Division and Journal.

Its membership of over 9,000 / - is drawn from all the major aeronautical facilities such as Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. DGCA, the Defence Research and Development institutions, academic institutions, aeronautics Development Agency, Indian Air Force, Indian Space Research Oganization, National Airports Authority of India, Air India, Indian Airlines, Jetways, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre,  Pawan Hans, Aero industry in the private sector. Private Airlines, Defence Res. Of & Dev. Laboratory Corps of Military Aviation. The Company also causes its financial support force and the active participation of its corporate members. The company has 53 member companies from the domestic and international sectors.

MANAGEMENT

The Society is taken care by an assembly involving of a President, President Elect, Seven Vice Presidents, Honorary Treasurer, the Honorary Secretary General, and fifteen members, 12 of whom are elected and the other three nominated to represent special interests. The Assembly is chosen yearly at the Annual General Meeting. The Council manages affairs of the Society with dedicated backing from its 9 committees namely; Academics Committee, Building Committee, Awards Committee, Editorial and Grading Committee, Journal Committee, Standing Committee & Rules Committee. These specialist committees provide path & plans activities of the Society.
