American Academy of Dermatology Association

The American Academy of Dermatology  is the largest organizations of dermatologists in this world. It was founded in the year of 1938 and representing near about 18,000 dermatologists in the United States, Canada, and all around the globe. The Academy usually grants Fellowships and Associate Memberships for residents, as well as Fellowships for Non-residents of Canada or USA. Since 1979, the AAD is publishing a medical journal every month “the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology”. A physician should and must be a resident of the United States of America or Canada and should be certified by the American Board of Dermatology  and Surgeons of Canada to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). A physician must have three years of experience in practice or as a teacher or graduate student of dermatology  to become an Associate Member, and must be having training that qualifies for examination by the American Board of Dermatology or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. However there are many barriers and challenges that interrupt the flexible running of the program and are a major cause of concern. However it was found in the survey that pressures to implement EHR is significant cause for retirement. For some of the physicians some of the training programs are too much costly and expensive so there is requirement of EHR Programs.
