American Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems

American Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems (AAIHDS) was established in 1993. AAIHDS is a non-profit organization started with a dedication for the educational advancement of provider-based managed care professionals responsible for accountable and integrated healthcare delivery. The integrated delivery system provides a higher and patient centric care at lower costs.

The American Association of integrated health care delivery system is an organized, coordinated, and collaborative network that links various healthcare providers to provide a coordinated, vertical continuum of services to a particular patient population or community. It evidences the integrated delivery systems improves quality of healthcare and also its outcomes, and reduces cost especially for patients with complex needs with proper implementation and coordination. The fragamented healthcare system will not be fixed with single approach, but integrated delivery system represents as important step in the right direction.

The members of the association include payer and provider-based managed care executives (VPs of Managed Care), CEOs and Board members of ACOs, IPAs, and PHOs, and other executives involved in integrated healthcare delivery.

The mission of AAIHDS is to provide managed healthcare professionals in ACO's, IPAs, PHOs, health systems, hospitals and other integrated delivery systems with the tools, education, skills and resources rander to be more successful in the marketplace. Integrated delivery system serves as an one example of the emergence of managed care organizations in the United States. It provides a variety of information on health care services over the efficiency and sustainability of integrated delivery systems.
